Cookies and local storage

This website sets no cookies — no tracking, advertising or analytics cookies — and stores nothing else in your browser either (no localStorage or similar techniques). That is why you won't see a cookie banner here: there is nothing to accept or refuse.

The embedded Tally contact form (see below) does not use cookies either, according to Tally.

The Detection Test

The Detection Test — the domain game on the home page — runs entirely in your browser. A brand name you enter never leaves your browser: nothing is sent and nothing is stored. Close the page and it is all gone.

Contact form and email

Our contact form is provided by Tally (tally.so), a Belgian provider whose forms are hosted within the EU. If you fill in the form, we process the data you provide yourself — such as your name, email address and message — to answer your question and follow up on a possible collaboration. The legal basis is taking steps prior to entering into a contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We keep your message no longer than needed for that purpose. Tally acts as our processor; when the form loads and when you submit it, Tally processes technical data such as your IP address.

If you email us directly, the same applies: we only use your data to answer and follow up on your message.

Hosting and log files

This website is hosted by Scaleway in France (EU). When pages are requested, technical data such as your IP address may be processed briefly; this is necessary to serve and secure the site.

Who we share data with

We do not sell data. We only share it with the processors that make this site possible — Tally (contact form) and Scaleway (hosting), both within the EU — or when the law requires us to. No personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Email us at sales@kingfishx.com; we will respond as soon as possible and within one month at the latest. You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority or with the supervisory authority in your own country, such as the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens in the Netherlands.

If we update this statement, we will publish the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
